Purina Pro Plan is specially formulated from high quality ingredients chosen to give great nutrients and other targeted benefits throughout your pet’s life. 

Purina Feeding Guide

There are a number of factors that affect how much you should be feeding your pet, including their size, age, activity level, and even breed. It is recommended that you feed your pet at consistent times to help them maintain a healthy digestive system. This is typically done by splitting the appropriate daily allowance between two meals at least 12 hours apart. Each Purina pet food will have a different recommended feeding amount, so check the package to be sure your pet is getting everything they need.

Every Purina pet food comes with a general feeding guide on the packaging that can be worked out based on your pet’s body weight. For a healthy adult dog, for example, the guide is as follows.

• 3 to 12lbs - ⅓ to 1 cup
• 13 to 20lbs - 1 to 1 ⅓ cups
• 21 to 35lbs - 1 ⅓  to 2 cups
• 26 to 50lbs - 2 to 2 ⅔ cups
• 51 to 75lbs - 2 ⅔  to 3 ⅓ 
• 76 to 100lbs - 3 ⅓ to 4 ¼ 
• 100lbs+ - 4-¼ plus ¼  cup for each 10 lbs of body weight over 100 lbs

The amount differs per animal -  Cats have different requirements for how much they eat in a day. For a healthy adult cat, as an example, the guide is as follows:

• 2 to 4kg - 30 to 60g
• 4 to 6kh - 60 to 90g
• 6 to 8kg - 90 to 120g

If your pet has any specific health requirements that may affect the amount of food they should be given, then make sure to consult with your vet for a more precise guide. 

Purina Beta Dog Food

Purina Beta is designed to keep your dog running, jumping and living their life to full, no matter their age or dietary needs! It’s made up of two different sized kibbles to encourage slower chewing and is made up of all natural ingredients, including carrots, spinach and whole grains. Purina Beta dog food is intended to meet all the nutritional requirements of your dog.  As well as offering a complete diet for adult dogs, there is also Purina Beta Puppy food, Purina Beta Senior food, and Purina Beta Sensitive food.
