Domosedan Gel: Dosage and Administration
Although this is an oral veterinary product, this product must not be swallowed.
Make sure that the horse’s mouth contains no feed. Remove the cap from the tip of the syringe and save for cap replacement. Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth from the side of the mouth, placing the syringe tip beneath the tongue at the level of the corner of the mouth. Depress the plunger until the ring-stop contacts the barrel, depositing the product under the tongue.
When the product is administered, the animal should be allowed to rest in a quiet place. Before any procedure is initiated, sedation should be allowed to fully develop (approximately 30 min).
The product is administered sublingually at 40 mcg/kg. The dosing syringe delivers the product in 0.25 ml increments. The following dosing table provides the dose volume to be administered for the corresponding body weight in 0.25 ml increments.

Storing Domosedan Gel
Keep the syringe in the outer carton in order to protect from light. Ensure the syringe is only used once. Part used syringes must be discarded.Keep out of reach of children.

While you can add these items to your shopping cart and pay for them along with other non-prescription products, we can’t dispatch them until we’ve received a prescription.

Light (usually non-food) orders under £29 are charged £2.99 postage. Heavy (typically food) orders under £29 are charged £4.49 postage.
For Light items (under 2kg) our standard method is Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked(there are a few exceptions, so if in doubt check our Delivery page).
To get it faster you can upgrade Light items to Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked or a Guaranteed Courier service, Saturday Courier or even before 12 noon services. There's a small fee, but if you're in a hurry they are worth considering. To ensure you get your courier order as quickly as possible, please place your order before 12 Noon Monday to Thursday. There is no standard Saturday courier delivery.
Heavy items weighing 2kg and more are sent via courier. Heavy items ordered after 12 Noon Friday, or anytime Saturday and Sunday will be processed on a normal working day.
Please note that if you are purchasing a mix of Light and Heavy items at the same time, these will be sent separately. The Heavy items being sent by Courier, the Light items by Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked.
Refrigerated items are only dispatched by courier Monday to Thursday to ensure the item remains cool.
