Braveco is a safe and effective flea treatment designed to kill fleas and ticks in cats and dogs. Unlike other flea treatments for dogs and cats, Bravecto for cats and dogs prevents flea infestations for up to 12 weeks, meaning your pet is protected for three months rather than two.
Bravecto for dogs is available to buy as either a spot-on treatment or as palatable chewable tablets. Bravecto spot-on solution for cats is available to treat fleas, and Bravecto Plus spot-on solution for Cats treats fleas as we as kills some internal parasites.

How Does Bravecto Work?
Like other flea treatments for cats and dogs, the active ingredient (Fluralaner, a systemic insecticide) works by penetrating the tissue fluids just under your pet’s skin so when fleas or ticks bite your pet, they ingest the Fluralaner and die.
Remember to follow the guidance in the data sheet when administering medication to your pet. In the absence of available data, you should not administer Bravecto to puppies less than 8 weeks old and /or dogs weighing less than 2 kg, or kitten less than 9 weeks old and /or cats weighing less than 1.2 kg.
How Long Does Bravecto Take to Work?
Once the spot-ons are applied, they begin getting to work immediately and is clinically proven to kill over 98% of fleas on your pet within just 12 hours and kills all ticks in 48 hours. A single dose then works for 12 weeks after application, providing effective flea and tick protection for your pet for 12 weeks.
As well as killing both the mentioned internal and external parasites, Bravecto Plus for Cats also offers prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria Immitis for 8 weeks.
