"I can not review Cavalesse on it's effectiveness as a sweet itch treatment only on a beneficial consequence. Our Welsh Mountain Pony does not suffer sweet itch but has Congestive Obstructive Pulmonary Disease which is always worse during the summer months and was being treated with Ventipulmin and steroids - our vet suggested that we try her on Ecuphar Cavaless Oral sweet itch treatment in conjunction with these as he had been advised that horses who had been given this for sweet itch but who also had respiratory problems it had been found the respiratory condition improved. There was a marked improvement in our pony and so we have continued to give her Cavalesse through the summer months for the last 5 years."/ (Posted on
