Really good stuff especially with ferrets with insulinoma. Always good to have in your emergency box.
Recommended by my vet for my ferret to check food allergy. It's a strange consistency (a sticky kind of mousse) but if I mash it with a little water it works best for my animal. Stops him trying to 'hide' it as ferrets do.
A real life saver at a good price. I use this when I have unwell ferrets. It is an amazing support food that they all absolutely love. It can really save lives if a ferret is seriously ill and is also great for helping them put on extra weight. As it's a powder you can mix it to different consistencies depending on what they like or their particular needs. If you are struggling to keep them hydrated adding a small amount to warm water to make it very thin will encourage them to drink more or if you are struggling to get them to transition back to real food you can make it a thicker consistency and/or mix it in with their normal food. A real first aid kit essential.
Had to use this on a pregnant cat that stopped eating and now giving it as a top up to a lad with IBS. Don't know how I managed without it.
This is a powder that you mix with water to make a nutritional support meal, whilst made for cats and dogs, it works very well for ferrets and is used across the UK by many ferret rescues and owners to help feed poorly ferrets as it can be made up thinner than the packet advises to produce an easy to syringe or spoon feed liquid soup that can really help keep a sick ferret going.
