Royal Canin Veterinary Health Nutrition Hepatic Dog food has adapted levels of highly digestible vegetable proteins to support liver function in case of chronic liver insufficiency. With a high energy content to reduce meal volume and decrease intestinal load. The low level of copper to help minimise its accumulation in liver cells.

This is available in 1.5kg, 6kg, 12kg and 12 x 420g cans. Packaging may vary due to rebranding.

Dry Ingredients: rice, maize, soya protein isolate, animal fats, beet pulp, hydrolysed poultry liver, minerals, soya oil, vegetable fibres, fish oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, marigold extract (source of lutein). Source of proteins: soya protein isolate, hydrolysed poultry liver.  Highly digestible carbohydrates. Crude ash: 4.7%. Crude fibre: 1.9%. Crude oil fats: 16%. Moisture: %. Protein: 16%.

Old Packaging Dry Ingredients: Cereals (maize, rice), meat and animal derivatives (chicken), oils and fats, derivatives of vegetable origin, eggs and egg derivatives, minerals. ADDITIVES (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin D3: 248 IU, E1 (Iron): 18 mg, E2 (Iodine): 0.2 mg, E4 (Copper): 1.3 mg, E5 (Manganese): 5.5 mg, E6 (Zinc): 55 mg. ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Protein: 6.5% - Fat content: 4.2% - Crude ash: 1.5% - Crude fibres: 2% - Moisture: 64% - Sodium: 0.05% - Omega 6 essential fatty acids: 1.6% and Omega 3 essential fatty acids: 0.01% - Total copper: 2.9 mg/kg.

Light (usually non-food) orders under £29 are charged £2.99 postage. Heavy (typically food) orders under £29 are charged £4.49 postage.

For Light items (under 2kg) our standard method is Royal Mail Second Class (there are a few exceptions, so if in doubt check our Delivery page).

To get it faster you can upgrade Light items to Royal Mail 1st Class or a Guaranteed Courier service, Saturday Courier or even before 12 noon services where available. There's a small fee, but if you're in a hurry they are worth considering. To ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible, please place your order before 12 Noon Monday to Thursday as there is no standard Saturday courier delivery.

Heavy items weighing 2kg and more are sent via courier. Heavy items ordered after 12 Noon Friday, or anytime Saturday and Sunday will be processed as soon as possible during working days.

Please note that if you are purchasing a mix of Light and Heavy items at the same time, these will be sent separately. The Heavy items being sent by Courier, the Light items by Royal Mail Second Class.

    "My dog had liver problems. As soon as item arrived she seemed to love it, ate very well and seemed a little better. However after a couple of days she did not want to eat it, but ate other food."
