Propalin Syrup for Dogs
Propalin Syrup for Dogs is for the treatment of urinary incontinence associated with sphincter mechanism incontinence (SME) in dogs. It is not appropriate for the treatment of behavioural causes of inappropriate urination.
Sphincter mechanism incontinence is the most common cause of urinary incontinence in dogs, especially neutered bitches. It occurs mostly in large-breed dogs.
It is a clear, colourless solution containing 40mg/ml of Phenylpropanolamine. Propalin is supplied in bottles of 30ml or 100ml.
How does Propalin work? Urinary incontinence is normally caused by the loss of muscle tone in the urethra sphincter. The Phenylpropanolamine works by stimulating the receptors in the muscle to cause them to tighten. Therefore, this can prevent any leaking.
The recommended dose is 0.1ml of Propalin Syrup per 5kg bodyweight three times a day. It is advised to administer it three times a day as Propalin does not last long in the body. Propalin can be issued on a long term basis.
Full instructions for using Propalin Syrup are included. It is also supplied with an easy to use dosage syringe.
Dosage instructions shown above are for guidance only. Please always consult your Vet.
Do not administer to pregnant or lactating bitches.
Propalin Syrup is a prescription item and will be sent once a valid prescription is received.

Easy web site to navigate found what I wanted straight away good discription of product and excellent value
So very impressed with the speed the product was sent, the emails from your company keeping me imformed and the fact i was able to order Tillys special cat food that i couldnt by in my area. Great service and will be use again.
Its not the easyest site to use the first time when using a prescription (other pet drugs sites just as hard) but bear with it because it does gets easier after a few orders. If you get 6 months or more of prescription then you dont have to order them all at the same time which helps spread the cost. One of the tablets that I order was costing me £2.40 each from my vet. I now get a prescription from my vet for £15 for 100 tablets and I can buy them here for £1.60 each. After the cost of my vet prescription im still saving £120.00 a year. I also order another drug called Loxicon (12 100ml bottles) and am saving another £210.00 after my vets prescription charge of £15 every 6 months.
