This is the only food my ragdoll cat will tolerate as he has IBD. He is fit and well on this food and his stomach symptoms have reduced. If this food was not available I don't think he would be alive today as he is now 10 years old was previously very poorly.
My late cat, sister to the one above, was prescribed this. Both cats loved it and my remaining cat likes it more than the gastro intestinal one he needs. Therefore l give it to him as a treat. It's very digestible with the added bonus of no smelly poo!
This food was initially recommended for our cat who has several allergies by the vet. She is doing very well on it and no longer has stomach problems
My cat (15 yrs old) has been suffering extremely itchy lumps on his ears and head. My vet only treated them with topical steroid cream which didn't work. Also for 2 yrs the cat has been steadily losing weigh until now he is a skeleton almost. Then I read about food allergy and decided to try a food trial. After 2 weeks of using the hypoallergenic diet the cat is much happier because he isn't scratching all the time. I will contiue for the recommended 12 weeks and review him then but I'm convinced this is the answer to his problem. Why my vet couldn't have suggested this 2 years ago I will never know.
Bought to try to tackle my cat's skin condition, it's a very complex matter and we have tried many things suggested by the vet- this is the latest, and there has been a little bit of improvement in her condition. She doesn't seem to like it on its own so I put a little of the sensitivity wet food on top, then she is fine with it.
Both my cats, who were mad for meat and jelly, now have this as their sole food source (due to one of them being allergic to protein) and they both love it.
