What our customers think of Hill's
I have several dogs and have found this the most economic way of worming them
It seems to be the only wormer I have found that my dog will happily take.
Easy to use I just add it to dogs food, it does the job it’s supposed to. I’ve used it before and will use again.
Really palatable my cat eats it no problem, and it works very well. Originally purchased from vets, was very pleased to get it from here at a fraction of the price.
How to Give your Dog NexGard
NexGard is a flea and tick treatment for dogs, and NexGard Spectra is a flea and worm treatment, both are quick and easy to administer. All you need to do is make sure you have the right chewable tablet for your dog’s body weight. NexGard Spectra Chews are available for:
- Small dogs (3.5-7.5kg)
- Medium dogs (7.5-15kg)
- Large dogs (15-30kg)
- Extra-large dogs (30-60kg)
For dogs weighing over 60kg, you should use the appropriate combination of chews to equal your dog’s body weight. For example, a 75kg dog should be given 1 Extra-large dog tablet (30-60kg), and one Medium dog tablet (7.5-15kg).
Dogs under the minimum tablet weight (3.5-7.5kg) should not be given the NexGard Spectra Chew without consultation from a veterinary professional.
NexGard chewable tablets are available for:
- Small dogs (2-4kg)
- Medium dogs (4-10kg)
- Large dogs (10-25kg)
- Extra-large dogs (25-50kg)
Once again, if your dog doesn’t meet the required minimum weight for small dogs (2kg) speak to your vet. Also, dogs over 50kg can use a combination of tablets to provide the correct dosage.
The NexGard and NexGard Spectra Chews are beef flavoured and palatable to dogs and studies have shown the vast majority of dogs like the taste and will take the chew like a treat. Both types of NexGard tablets can be given with or without food.
When used as directed, NexGard is safe for use on any breed of dog 8 weeks or older.
How to Apply NexGard COMBO to your Cat
NexGard COMBO is a broad-spectrum parasiticide for cats. This treatment will kill and protect against fleas, ticks, ear mites, tapeworms and roundworms, giving all-round protection for your cat. NexGard COMBO is available for small cats (under 2.5kg) and large cats (2.5 - 7.5kg).
To apply this treatment, simply ensure you have the correct dosage for your cat. With the applicator held upright, twist and pull off the cap. Hold your cat and part the fur on the midline of the neck, between the base of the skull and shoulder blades to expose the skin. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and apply the full contents directly onto the skin in one spot. Applying the product in this area ensures your cat cannot groom the product off, but if there are other animals keep them separate until the liquid is absorbed.
