Otoprof® is an ear cleansing solution designed for dogs that produce a lot of wax and other ear secretions. The foaming solution helps remove excess build up of earwax.
The formula includes dioctylsodium sulfosuccinate, which helps break down earwax, and carbamide peroxide, which creates a gentle foam to lift wax and debris to the surface for easy cleaning. Propylene glycol is also included to keep skin in the ear from drying out.
Instructions
Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a couple of drops into the ear and gently massage the base of the ear to activate the foam. Make sure the product stays in the ear while it's working. If the foam starts to leak out, use cotton wool to plug the ear once the foaming begins.
Afterward, remove any debris the foam lifts out, then rinse the ear with lukewarm water and dry it. You may need to rinse the ear a couple of times to ensure all the foam is gone.
