Vetmedin Capsules 5mg (also known as Vetmedin Hard Capsules) are for the treatment of congestive heart failure originating from dilated cardiomyopathy or valvular insufficiency in dogs.

There are a range of different heart conditions, typically where the valves of the heart are leaky or the heart itself is enlarged, which means that blood is less effectively circulated around the body. Vetmedin looks to aid the pumping of the blood by way of strengthening the heart muscle.
