The SureFeed® Microchip Pet Feeder is a motorised feeder for cats and other small pets that will only open when it registers your pet’s specific microchip. This is ideal for homes with other pets where food is often stolen. If your pet has prescription food and/or is struggling with weight management, the SureFeed® Microchip Feeder can be an excellent solution.
The SureFeed® Microchip Pet Feeder is compatible with all identification microchips worldwide and even comes with a SureFlap RFID tag that can be attached to non-microchipped pets' collars so that they can operate the feeder. The product stores up to 32 unique microchips, which can be stored at the touch of a button.
The SureFeed® Microchip Pet Feeder is suitable for both wet and dry food, and the sealed bowl ensures the food stays fresh and free of flies. Each feeder comes with two bowls (one regular and one split), one removable, cleanable mat, and one RFID collar tag. The feeder can be easily customised with the SureFeed Mat + Bowl Replacement Set.
The bowl’s capacity is 400 ml. The product’s dimensions are as follows: 200mm (H) x 230mm (W) x 320mm (D), with an opening of 210mm (W) x 155mm (H). The Feeder requires four C-type batteries to operate, giving it a battery life of up to six months.
Please note: batteries are not included with this product and must be purchased separately.
Instructions
The feeder lid will remain closed until it is opened to replace food or when an authorised pet approaches to eat. The lid will slide open if the pet is authorised and allowed to eat. If an unauthorised pet tries to eat from the feeder when the lid is closed, then the lid will simply not open. Once your pet has eaten and moved away from the feeder, the lid will close after a short delay.
