ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition Gastrointestinal High Fibre Wet Dog Food in Loaf is specifically formulated to help support your dog’s digestive health in cases of gastrointestinal sensitivities.

This fibre rich diet is formulated with an optimal blend of fibres to help both regulate and support intestinal transit. Despite the high fibre content, this diet is formulated to provide maintenance energy levels. This highly digestible formula is enriched with a balance of fibres and prebiotics to help support healthy digestion and transit.

RECOMMENDED FOR CASES OF:

  • Conditions requiring a high fibre level*
  • Fibre responsive colitis / diarrhoea (including stress diarrhoea)
  • Chronic Idiopathic Large Bowel Diarrhoea (CILBD)
  • Acute and chronic diarrhoea**

NOT RECOMMENDED IN CASE OF:

  • Growth, gestation or lactation
  • Obstipation
  • Obstructive megacolon
  • Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis***
  • Hyperlipidemia***
  • Lymphangiectasia, exudative enteropathy***

* A fibre rich diet may support dogs suffering with constipation, however it may also increase faecal volume which is contraindicated in some cases of constipation, particularly if associated with dehydration, obstipation and/or obstruction. For these cases a low residue diet such as GASTROINTESTINAL may be recommended.

** A food elimination trial is recommended for cases of chronic colitis or diarrhoea.

*** In these cases, the recommended diet is Gastrointestinal Low Fat.

InfoPLEASE NOTE: Some pet food tins are made from very thin metal, so we package them carefully for shipping. However the odd tin can get a little dented during transit. In the majority of cases this is simply cosmetic damage and the contents are unaffected. If you see a dented tin on delivery, just give it a quick once over and if you can't see any leaks the can's unpunctured - the food will be fine. If a can has leaked or is punctured get in touch via email at contact@petdrugsonline.co.uk

Instructions

As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional.

Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount

Mixed feeding possibilities:

To cater to each dog’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal High Fibre is also available as dry food with crunchy kibble.* Mixed feeding gives your dog a variety of textures, helping to stimulate their appetite. Wet food provides a richer aroma and its moisture content helps to keep your pet hydrated, while dry food is easier to graze on.
