Recicort ear drops are used to treat certain types of otitis externa that are not caused by a bacterial or yeast infection. The combination of triamcinolone acetonide and salicylic acid are perfect for otitis externa that are not caused by a bacterial or yeast infection such as flare ups caused by allergies.

Recicort doesn’t contain an antibiotic or antimycotic so it won’t contribute to antimicrobial resistance. It is a moderately potent steroid with an anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive action this helps supress the inflammatory response and the symptoms of various conditions associated with itching.
