PURINA PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS Adult NF Renal Function Wet Dog Food has low phosphorus levels to help slow the progression of CKD (chronic kidney disease) and minimise the risk of secondary hyperparathyroidism. It contains restricted high-quality proteins to help minimise muscle loss, the formation of uraemic toxins, and their associated morbidity. The added omega-3 fatty acids help to minimise glomerular hypertension and help support natural anti-inflammatory processes.
PURINA PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS Adult NF Renal Function Wet Dog Food is recommended for CKD (chronic kidney disease), protein-losing nephropathy, conditions that require restricted dietary sodium, reduction of calcium oxalate urinary stone formation, reduction of urate and cystine urinary stone formation, a hepatic disease associated with encephalopathy and renal failure associated with leishmaniasis. It is not recommended for conditions that require high protein or phosphorus intake, pregnancy, lactation and growth.
