Onsior® Tablets for Dogs 5mg

Onsior for Dogs 5mg is for the treatment of acute pain and inflammation associated with musculo-skeletal disorders in dogs.

It is supplied in individual 5mg tablets or packs of 30.

How many tablets does my dog need? The recommended dose of Onsior is 1mg per kg bodyweight daily (with a range of 1-2mg per kg). For example:

2.5-5kg - 1x 5mg tablet

5-10kg - 1x 10mg tablet

10-20kg - 1x20mg tablet

20kg-40kg - 1x 40mg

40kg+ - 2 x 40mg 

 It is advised to issue Onsior at the same time every day. Do not administer with food. Studies have shown that giving Robenacoxib without food or at least 30 minutes before or after food had better efficacy. Do not divide or break tablets. Wash hands after handling medication.
