Metacam Oral Suspension can be used in cats for chronic (long-term) musculoskeletal conditions, such as arthritis, and acute (sudden and short-lived) musculoskeletal disorders, such as injury.
Metacam Oral Suspension can also reduce post-operative pain and inflammation following soft tissue surgery in cats, guinea pigs, and orthopaedic (e.g., fracture repair) surgery in cats.
Instructions
The suspension should be administered orally, mixed with food or directly into the mouth. For cats, the suspension is administered using the measuring syringe provided in the box or the bottle’s drop dispenser. A dosing dish and syringe are available for guinea pigs.
