Keratex Horse Hoof Gel is designed for wet weather, creating a protective, waterproof yet breathable barrier over the hoof. This layer keeps moisture out, helping prevent hooves from softening, splitting, or breaking down in muddy or saturated conditions. By shielding the hoof from excess water, it supports overall hoof integrity.

When water is prevented from soaking into the internal hoof structures, the hoof has the right environment to rebuild strength and quality. If your horse’s hooves tend to weaken, soften, lose shoes, or become saturated in wet or humid climates, applying Keratex Hoof Gel every other day to the entire hoof can help restore resilience and durability.

The gel absorbs fully into the hoof, ensuring it won’t wash off in the field regardless of conditions. Once absorbed, water simply beads and rolls off the surface, much like rain on a waxed jacket.
