Description

Intrasite Gel Applipak Wound Dressing is indicated for the removal of non-viable tissue from shallow, undermined and deep wounds (e.g. pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, malignant wounds, burns, surgical wounds, scalds, lacerations, grazes, amputations and fungating ulcers). Also, for the treatment of granulating cavity wounds, excoriated skin and radiation burns.

Intrasite Gel Applipak Wound Dressing is a clear, colourless water-based gel that contains 2.3% modified carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and 20% propylene glycol, which acts as a moisturiser and preservative. When applied to a wound, it absorbs extra fluid and creates a moist surface environment without softening or damaging the surrounding tissue.
