The Horslyx Digestion Horse Balancer Lick is designed to support the digestive system from the stomach to the hindgut and encourages saliva production, which helps buffer stomach acidity.
The balancer lick contains Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) and Seaweed Meal (Ascophyllum nodosum), which contain mucilage. Mucilage can be particularly beneficial in horses with inflamed mucous membranes and digestive conditions. It also contains a prebiotic yeast extract containing MOS (Mannanoligosaccharides), which helps to flush pathogens out of the gut, and Beta-glucans, which help stimulate the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
