Description

Espuma® Basic Foam Dressing is made of absorbent, atraumatic polyurethane foam with a hydrocolloid wound contact layer to make the dressing adherent where no fixation is needed, and with atraumatic removal during dressing change.

It is suitable for use on pressure ulcers (stage II and superficial stage III), partial and full-thickness diabetic foot ulcers, venous insufficiency leg ulcers, partial and full-thickness arterial ulcers, partial-thickness burns and abrasions, open surgical wounds, and skin tears with moderate to heavy exudation.

The 7.5cm x 7.5cm foam dressing consists of four layers: a breathable polyurethane film, a polyurethane foam layer, a hydrocolloid layer, and a release liner.
