Dechra SPECIFIC® FXW Adult Wet Cat Food is recommended as a daily diet for healthy adult cats (<8 years) with diabetes mellitus and idiopathic cystitis.
Dechra SPECIFIC® FXW Adult Wet Cat Food is a complete, balanced diet with high-quality and highly digestible ingredients that meet adult cats' nutrient requirements. The diet has a moderate energy content, which helps to maintain the cat's ideal body weight. EPA and DHA are Omega-3 fatty acids that help keep skin, coat, and joints healthy. In cats, amino acids rather than glucose trigger insulin release, and excess intake of carbohydrates is often not well tolerated. Therefore, the increased protein level and low content of carbohydrates make the diet suitable for cats with diabetes mellitus. High-quality and highly digestible ingredients ensure an optimal uptake of nutrients from the diet while reducing faecal output.
This diet is not recommended for kittens and pregnant or lactating queens.
