Dechra SPECIFIC® FOW-HY Allergen Management Plus Wet Cat Food is recommended for cats with allergic dermatitis caused by atopy, food allergy, flea allergy, or any combination of these allergies.
This wet food contains uniquely high levels of the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from fish oil and the Omega-6 fatty acid GLA from borage oil. These fatty acids can affect the immune response by altering the production of the eicosanoids and support the skin and coat condition in cats with atopy. It also contains hydrolysed salmon protein, which has a high digestibility and a low allergenicity. These high-quality and highly digestible ingredients make the diet especially useful for patients with small intestinal diarrhoea.
This food is not recommended for immuno-deficient cats or cats with coagulation abnormalities.
