Dechra SPECIFIC® CT-DC Dental Care Chews have a special flexible texture and open structure that allows teeth to go into the chew, scraping the teeth clean and allowing a longer chewing time, this ensures excellent cleaning.
They contain hexametaphosphate which helps prevent tartar build up by binding calcium in saliva, preventing calcification of plaque. The vitamin C phosphate limits growth of oral bacteria, plaque and tartar. The chews are made with seaweed which reduces plaque, tartar and the volatile sulphur components that cause bad breath, the green tea extract and eucalyptus oil also supports fresh breath.
Dechra SPECIFIC® CT-DC Dental Care Chews are not suitable for dogs with hyperthyroidism due to the naturally high iodine content in seaweed Dogs with clinical conditions which are supported with a special care diet.
