"Mabel is my soul dog. She’s a five-year-old working black Labrador with a boundless love for life. We live in Cornwall, so we spend so much time out and about, exploring miles of the coastal path or running on the beach.

"Darla’s nickname is Shadow because she never leaves my side. She's a little nervous at first, but once she knows you, she’s the most affectionate and happy dog you’ve ever seen. She’s five years old now, but she’s been through the wringer health-wise.

“We knew when we met Keeper that she was the dog for us. At just 18 months old, she was so skinny and afraid, but she lay her head in my dad’s lap, and we knew in our hearts she was meant to be ours. We brought her home two weeks later and have adored her ever since. For 12 years, she’s brought nothing but love into our lives, her affectionate and gentle nature shining through despite her rough start.
