Description
Scalibor® Protectorband is a medicated band for the control of tick infestations, control of blood-sucking caused by sand flies, and for an anti-feeding effect on adult mosquitoes. Scalibor® Protectorband Collars provide up to 6 months of protection from ticks. It kills ticks that can transmit serious diseases such as Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Babesiosis.
The collar should be applied at least 10-14 days before exposure to fleas and ticks and is supplied in two sizes: small-medium 48cm or large, 65cm. The small-medium-sized collar contains 0.76g of deltamethrin, and the large collar contains 1.0g of deltamethrin.
Please measure your dog's neck before purchasing the collar to ensure an accurate fit. The collar itself is white and odourless.
To be used on dogs only. The active ingredient is deltamethrin, which harms cats and aquatics (especially fish). If cats have close contact with the dog wearing the collar, it can cause "Feline Permethrin Toxicosis".
