Diabetes mellitus occurs when insulin is not being produced by the body or the body is no longer responding to the insulin as it should. This condition can develop in cats as a possible result of a number of factors, including excess weight and obesity. Royal Canin Diabetic dry cat food is specifically tailored with the needs of diabetic adult cats in mind.

This dry cat food for diabetic cats is suitable in cases of:

• Diabetes Mellitus and a Body Condition Score of 6 out of 9 or below
• Diabetes Mellitus and a Body Condition score of  7 out of 9 of higher, until glycaemic control has been achieved

Royal Canin Diabetic dry is a complete dietetic feed for cats, formulated for the regulation of glucose supply (Diabetes mellitus). Low level of mono- and disaccharides.

Recommendations: It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use.
