Copper accumulation can happen in some liver diseases, this food helps to minimise copper accumulation in your dog's liver. Royal Canin Hepatic dog food contains specifically adapted levels of high-quality proteins to support liver function.

Royal Canin Hepatic dog food is suitable for dogs with:

  • Chronic hepatitis associated with liver dysfunction
  • Portosystemic shunt
  • Hepatic encephalopathy
  • Copper storage disease

Royal Canin Hepatic is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated for the support of liver function in the case of chronic liver insufficiency and for the reduction of copper in the liver. With high quality protein, selected and highly digestible and restricted level of copper.

Recommendations: It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Feed this diet initially up to 4 months for the support of liver function in the case of chronic liver insufficiency and initially up to 6 months for the reduction of copper in the liver.

Please note: Royal Canin Hepatic dog food is not suitable for pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia, acute hepatitis without Hepatic encephalopathy, growth, gestation, or lactation.
