Panacur 22% Granules for Cats & Dogs
Panacur 22% Granules for cats and dogs are a broad spectrum wormer for the treatment of roundworms, tapeworms and lungworms in dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
It is supplied in packs of 3 sachets of 1g, 1.8g or 4.5g of granules.
Practical dosage recommendations for dogs and cats:
- 1g sachet treats 2kg bodyweight as a single dose (1.1 2.2kg)
- 1.8g sachet treats 4kg bodyweight as a single dose (2.2 4.4kg)
- 4.5g sachet treats 10kg bodyweight as a single dose (5 10kg)
- For dogs weighing over 10kg (22 lbs), additional sachets are required according to the additional body weight.
It is advised to treat your dog or cat 2-4 times per year as a precaution. Treatment can be given earlier if natural re-infection occurs.
Dosage for weaned puppies and kittens under 6 months of age:
- Administer dose daily for 3 consecutive days
- 1g sachet treats 4kg bodyweight
- 1.8g treats 8kg bodyweight
- 4g dose treats 20kg bodyweight
This product can be safely administered to pregnant dogs and cats.
It is important to obtain an accurate weight of your animal to ensure correct dosing.
