Mycozole.
Mycozole is a topical Miconazole Nitrate spray used for the prevention and treatment of common fungal infections of the skin such as Candida spp. Malassezia, pachydermatis, Dermatophytosis(ringworm) and Pathogenic fungi (zoonotic may also pass to humans) in rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, birds and reptiles.
Miconazole nitrate is significantly absorbed into but not through the skin and so it is a highly suitable chemotherapeutic agent for dermal infections, therapeutic concentrations remain in the skin for up to four days following application and due to the low percutaneous absorption systemic side effects are rare.
Method of administration: Weigh animal carefully before administration to accurately assess the appropriate dose, remove drinking water before use and replace with fresh water after application, treat all animals in a group concurrently, spray twice daily at a distance of 5 to 10 cm from the animal ensuring that the product reaches the skin, in mammals and birds this will require lifting the fur or feathers to
SCALE TO BODYWEIGHT:
100-200 g - 0.2 ml (1 pump) -Twice daily
200-400 g - 0.4 ml (2 pumps)- Twice daily
400-600 g - 0.6 ml (3 pumps)- Twice daily
600-800 g - 0.8 ml (4 pumps)- Twice daily
800g 1kg- 1 ml (5 pumps) - Twice daily
Over 1 kg - 0.2 ml (1 pump) per 200 g - Twice daily
Heavy items weighing 2kg and more are sent via courier. Heavy items ordered after 12 Noon Friday, or anytime Saturday and Sunday will be processed as soon as possible during working days.
Please note that if you are purchasing a mix of Light and Heavy items at the same time, these will be sent separately. The Heavy items being sent by Courier, the Light items by Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked.
