Elizabeth Youens, Veterinary Surgeon
BSc(Hons) BVSc Mres MRCVS
Having graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011 with degrees in Veterinary Science and Animal Behaviour and Welfare, Lizzie now has over ten years of experience as a veterinary surgeon with particular interests in animal behaviour, dermatology, and geriatrics.
Along with her first-hand experience, Lizzie is also an incredibly accomplished veterinary writer whose passion for animal health and education is unparalleled! She recently finished her research project on brachycephalic health and welfare at the Royal Veterinary College and received a master's in research.

Lizzie has fallen victim to the "Cat Distribution System" not once but twice, having adopted two strays who were brought into vet practices where she worked. Now, Pi and Jazzy are safe and well cared for in their new home in the Forest of Dean, where Lizzie lives with her husband and two children.
