Keratex Hoof Hardener is a patented formula designed to protect your horse from brittle and cracked hooves, soft, sensitive or thin soles, repeated shoe loss, or transitioning to barefoot. It strengthens and protects both shod and unshod hooves, restoring durability to sensitive soles and preventing existing cracks from laddering up or across the hooves.
Keratex works by cross-linking the keratins and proteins within the internal structures of the hooves, making them stronger from the inside out. It absorbs easily into the hooves, meaning it will not come off in the field and will continue to work within the hoof, whatever the weather and field conditions.
Instructions
Apply to the lower half of the hoof and sole, avoiding the coronary band and frog. For general hoof maintenance, use daily for one week, then twice weekly.
Keep away from you and your horse’s eyes, nose, mouth and skin.
