I am feeding this also to my dog and she is enjoying it but again it's too soon to report on any improvement of her health!
Email updates for delivery, well packaged and cheapest online and with free delivery - a very happy pooch
My 14 year old collie has only been on the Renal wet diet for 2 weeks and is enjoying her food more since I added the wet to the dry Renal and never leaves any
My pooch seems to be OK with it - I will have to wait for next blood results and see if any weight gain in order to decide if it is actually doing any good.
The Royal canine renal wet food has been very good for my 15year old Labrador, Kiera.
It has also helped to digest as she now has developed closure of one side of the larynx, so
The wet food doesn't cause her to cough.
My dog has recently been diagnosed with chronic renal failure and was giving her hills renal wet and dry unfortunately she would run away when I called her for her dinner. She stopped eating so changed to Royal canin renal and she happily eats it all.
Just my personal opinion. Nothing wrong with the food itself, but it is very wet and my dog has such a job eating it. It becomes a wet pulp in her bowl and takes her ages to get through it. Bought it as she was diagnosed with Stage 1 renal problems and told she would benefit from a renal diet. Also bought Hills k/d diet which is so much better, it is firm and she can eat it without any problems. I end up having to finger feed her this Royal Canin stuff, which is messy and time consuming. I would plump for the Hills over this every time.

My 12 year old dog, William, was in Stage 4 of renal failure and was very sick indeed. After two days of IV treatment the vet prescribed the Royal Canin Renal diet and thankfully William loved it. Six weeks on, blood tests have revealed his kidneys are now functioning within 'normal range'. The vet told me this was entirely due to his diet. Fantastic.
