An aid in the treatment of Azoturia Management of exertional rhabdomyolysis ('tying up') in horses that occurs in all types of horses but is most common in high performance disciplines.
An electrolyte inbalance may be a trigger factor for some cases particularly those which are prone to recurrent bouts of azoturia providing the correct balance of calcium and sodium in the majority of situations.
It is available in a 2kg bucket of powder
Ingredients: Each 50g contains: Sodium chloride 20g, Calcium lactate 10g and Calcium carbonate 20g
Administration: 50g (approximately two 25ml level scoops) per day in feed for up to 30 days or as directed by a veterinary surgeon
This should not be used in food producing animals.
