My Rottie x Mastiff has severe separation anxiety and I find using Zylkene and then Calmex an hour before I have to go out helps to relax her that little bit more.
I don't think it had much effect on our dog, he was still very frightened of the fireworks

thank you for taking the time to feedback on a product we supplied (your comments on our service were very kind). I am sorry that you found ineffective during the fireworks season. I am not sure where to go here - have you tried Adaptil?
My 10 yr old Airedale was hyper to the point I feared she would have a heart attack. With vet guidance I've tried her with a few brands for at least 3 months each product. This has worked the best so far and she's only on week 6 of the trial. Not yet completely calm but a massive improvement.
