Advocate for Cats
Advocate for cats is a flea and wormer spot on treatment for protecting against fleas, roundworm, lungworm, heartworm and ear mites.
It is supplied in packets of 3 or 6 single use pipettes. Each screw cap pipette contains a solution containing Imidacloprid and Moxidectin which presents in a yellowy/brown liquid.
The dosage and strength of Advocate for cats treatment depends the size of cat and on why it's being used.
Advocate for cats it is applied from pre-filled pipettes and there are two sizes available, Advocate for Small Cats if your cat weighs less than 4kg and Advocate for Large Cats if your cat weighs over 4kg. For cats larger than 8kg use the appropriate combination of Advocate for cat pipettes. One treatment of Advocate for cats treats any existing infestation and prevents future flea infestations for 4 weeks.

How to administer Advocate for Cats
Part the fur on the back of your cat's neck at the base of the skull. You may want to slightly dampen your fingers to part the fur, especially if they have a very thick coat. Where you can see skin place the top of the pipette and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents onto the skin.
Advocate for Cats is applied to the base of the skull to minimise the chances of your cat licking the product. Only apply Advocate for Cats to undamaged skin.
Apply Advocate for Cats to your cat’s neck and the solution will quickly spread to kill 98-100% of fleas in just 12 hours.

Our standard delivery is free by Royal Mail 2nd Class (for lightweight items up to 2kg) - there are some exceptions and you can see these on our delivery page. These include refridgerated items, controlled prescription medication and heavy food items 2kg+ which have to be sent via our Courier service.
We also offer delivery by Royal Mail 1st Class or via Next Working Day Courier for a small fee (for items in stock ordered before 12pm Monday to Thursday). Where available orders can be upgraded to Next Working Day pre-12pm or Saturday Delivery. Standard courier orders placed before 12pm on Fridays will be delivered the following Monday.
Orders under £20 have a £2.50 handling fee automatically added.
Food deliveries weighing 2kg and over ordered before 12pm (Monday to Thursday) will be delivered next working day by courier - Monday to Friday - excludes Saturday delivery. Orders placed on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be delivered on a Tuesday. Orders weighing over 6kg are sent free.*
*Please note that any other items ordered with food will be sent separately via Royal Mail 2nd Class by default. If you require non-food items on a faster service we offer the option to upgrade to Royal Mail 1st Class or Courier delivery of non-food items for an additional charge.
