Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary Wet Canine
Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O LP 18 is a nutritionally complete dog food designed to dissolve kidney and bladder stones and help minimise the chance of them reoccurring.
With reduced magnesium and carefully controlled quality proteins, LP 18 works to dissolve and prevent struvite uroliths and struvite or calcium oxalate urolithiases as well as bacterial cystitis. The low RSS formulation in Veterinary Urinary S/O LP 18 helps to dilute the urine and reduces the concentration of ions, helping to remove leading factors in the formation of kidney and bladder stones.
It is available in 12 x 400g cans and 40 x 150g pouches.
Struvite dissolution: Helps dissolve struvite stones.
Urine dilution: Urine dilution makes the urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate stones.
Moderate calorie: Moderate calorie content to help maintain ideal weight.
Low rss: Helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation.
Antioxidants: The synergistic antioxidant complex (vitamin E, vitamin C, taurine, lutein) neutralises free radicals and help maintain the health of cells, DNA and the immune system.
Please note that these cans made of very thin metal can dent very easily. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the tins/cans are packaged as best as possible, some occasionally do unfortunately get dented in transit via courier. This is cosmetic only and should not affect use.

My little Yorkie had a huge crystal cluster removed from her bladder by surgery. With the help of this product we have almost prevented further crystals forming and the results are still improving a proven by a visit to the vet this morning.
My dog is on a special diet and she loves this food. Great news as she will be on it for a while. She had an operation for bladder stones. We don't want them to come back and this food stops that.
An excellent fast delivery service of a product which was at a price that was the cheapest I could find. I asked my vet for their opinion of the advertised product and if it was what was required for my dog. Not only did they recognise the product but also the supplier and recommended them as a supplier of prescribed medicated products. That was good enough for me and I have now used this supplier twice. I think the programmed replenishment system is also a very good idea which eliminates the risk of running out of food for your pet.
My dog is not a great drinker so the dry food wasn't working for us. She didn't like the canned version as it was more of a mush and she struggled to get it out of the bowl. The pouches are a great alternative as they contain small chunks so easier for her to eat. If I had a criticism it is that the pouches are pretty small - my dog is small (miniature schnauzer) and they are only just enough for her
as advised by my dogs vet as he has had a few small stones, the food is brilliant and is keeping him in good health and importantly very happy. THANK YOU.
