My dog has IBD and we have been trying new protein sources. He loved it, but unfortunately after 2 months he still has a funny tummy as soon as he comes off his steroids and the vet wants him to try something different.
Adding a little amount from the tinned food to the dry food once a day, makes it even better for him.
This was recommended by my vet, for my Jack Russell. She loves it, what more can I say, other than that I wish that I had known about this food before.
Seems to have cured our dogs upset stomach. She is a far happier dog. Will definitely carry on using this specialist pet food.
Fulfils its claim of suitability for food-sensitive dogs.
However, it offers little variety for them. The alternate chicken flavour is unsuitable for our dogs because of their protein sensitivities..
Would it be possible to create a range of sub-flavours - perhaps with artificial flavourings that are not known to cause reactions?
have used for about three years as dog tends to suffer from tummy upsets and vet recommended it and it works a treat
I have been buying this product for my German Shepherd since our vet suggested that we fed him on it after he had to be admitted to the vet hospital in the summer after becoming seriously ill having been bitten by an adder.
Keeps my pet's food requirements in order to keep her with us to keep alive and in a manageable state of health.
