This food was proscribed by my vet when my dog had a stomach illness and I was told I could keep her on it indefinitely to save any upset by changing foods around. My dog enjoys this food and have had no reoccurring problems since she's been eating it
My dog has been having issues with food. The Vet recommended Hills Prescription I/D. He's been eating this for the past 6 weeks and all issues seem to have cleared up. I would definitely recommend.
Best food for my Cairn's dodgy tummy, Bertie loves it although to keep his weight down I cook fresh veg carrots & broccoli to mix in with it and feed less than the recommended amount on the can, I also split it into two feeds lunch and dinner as small dogs have small tummies
My dog is very prone to digestive upsets and recently had a severe bout of gastric inflammation. It has taken about 2 weeks for it to settle down to normal elimination and being able to gradually change back to a mix of her normal food and the prescription diet food. However, she is doing well now and being able to obtain it from Pet Drugs was a big help.
