Claim the costs back from Direct Line: You can claim up to £15 back on the cost of your prescription fee by sending Direct Line a copy of your prescription along with a receipt or invoice for the amount the vet charged to write the prescription.

How to make a claim on your Direct LinePet Insurance Policy

Visit www.directline.com/pet-cover/claims where you can submit a claim online or phone in to register a claim. You will need a copy of your receipt or order confirmation alongside your prescription and the fee your vet charged.
