What is Clavaseptin?
Clavaseptin Tablets are for the treatment or adjunctive treatment of periodontal infections in dogs and the treatment of skin infections (including wounds and abscesses) in cats.

How Does Clavaseptin for Dogs Work?
Clavaseptin 250mg tablets are an antibiotic medication for both cats and dogs and contain a combination of amoxicillin and a beta-lactamase inhibitor (which overcomes bacteria which are penicillin-resistant). The active ingredients in Clavaseptin are Amoxicillin Trihydrate and Clavulanic acid.
Clavaseptin is predominantly used to treat dental infections in dogs, whereas it is usually used to treat skin infections in cats.
