Panacur® Granules Wormer for Dogs and Cats 22.2% w/w is a broad-spectrum wormer for the treatment of roundworms, tapeworms and lungworms in dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
Panacur® Granules 22.2% is effective against the major tapeworm and roundworm species, including Toxocara (which can cause problems if accidentally transmitted to humans); Panacur® Granules 22.2% is mild and kind to pets but lethal to worms.
Virtually tasteless, these granules can be mixed with a small treat or into your pet's normal food.

Assess bodyweight and weigh your pet as accurately as possible before calculating the dosage.
Routine Worming for Adult Cats & Dogs - One Single Dose
1g sachet treats 2kg of bodyweight
1.8g sachet treats 4kg of bodyweight
4.5g sachet treats 10kg of bodyweight
Sachets can be combined for dosing dogs over 10kg
For example, for a 25kg dog:
(2 x 4.5g sachet) + (3 x 1g sachet).
Weaned Puppies & Kittens under 6 months
1g sachet treats 4kg of bodyweight
1.8g sachet treats 8kg of bodyweight
4.5g sachet treats 20kg of bodyweight
e.g for a 17kg puppy:
(2 x 1.8g sachet) + (1 x 1g sachet) every day for three consecutive days.
Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age, 5 weeks of age and again before leaving the breeder's premises. Treatment may also be required at 8 and 12 weeks of age. Thereafter, the frequency of treatment can be reduced unless the pups remain in kennels where re-infestation occurs more readily.
Pregnant dogs
Administer daily from day 40 of pregnancy continuously to 2 days post-whelping (approximately 25 days).
Practical dosage recommendations:
1g sachet treats 8kg (17.6lb) bodyweight daily approx. 25 days
1.8g sachet treats 16kg (35.2lb) bodyweight daily approx. 25 days
4.5g sachet treats 40kg (88lb) bodyweight daily approx. 25 days
For bitches weighing over 40kg, additional sachets are required according to the additional body weight.
Specific treatment of lungworm in dogs
For treatment of lungworm in dogs administer once daily for 7 consecutive days.
1g sachet treats 4kg of bodyweight
1.8g sachet treats 8kg of bodyweight
4.5g sachet treats 20kg of bodyweight
A repeat treatment may be necessary.
Specific treatment of lungworm in cats
For treatment of lungworm in cats administer daily for 3 consecutive days.
