Dechra SPECIFIC® FJD Adult Joint Support Dry Cat Food is recommended for adult and senior cats with osteoarthritis. Cats are predisposed to developing osteoarthritis: healthy adult and senior cats for support of a healthy joint function.
Dechra SPECIFIC® FJD Adult Joint Support Dry Cat Food uses uniquely high levels of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA for support of healthy joint function and mobility. The omega-3 fatty acids are derived from fish oil and thus present as preformed EPA and DHA to benefit immediately from their beneficial effects. A complete, balanced diet with a moderate energy density for support of optimal weight management and maintenance of healthy joints. It contains L-carnitine to stimulate fat oxidation and preservation of lean muscle mass. Natural glucosamine and chondroitin for support of healthy joints. High levels of antioxidants to scavenge free radicals in the joints. High level of manganese, a cofactor in the synthesis of proteoglycans, to support a healthy joint function. A urine pH below 6.4 and low RSS values for struvite and calcium oxalate support a healthy urinary tract.
This diet is not recommended for young, fast-growing kittens, pregnant or lactating queens.
