Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Renal Cat Food is a complete dietetic feed for adult cats that has been formulated to support renal function in the case of chronic or temporary renal insufficiency, through its low level of phosphorus and high quality protein. Due to low level of calcium and vitamin D and its urine alkalising properties, it also helps to reduce oxalate stone formation.
It is available in 2kg and 4kg bags.

The nutritionists have also ensured that even a small amount of renal cat food can give your pet a huge boost, with high-energy density providing sufficient calorie intake in smaller portions.
Renal cat food cuts down the amount of work a cat’s kidneys have to do, with added Omega 3 fatty acids and anti-oxidants that support the kidneys in their work, renal cat food can also reduce the toxic build-up of materials that could otherwise make your cat poorly.
Does my cat need renal cat food? Your cat may have a kidney problem if they a showing some of these: Weight loss, vomiting, diarrhoea, poor hair/coat, loss of appetite, drinking more/urinating more. Speak to your vet if you think your cat may be suffering from a problem with their kidneys and they will advise you on what treatment will be best for you and your cat.

For Light items (under 2kg) our standard method is Royal Mail Second Class (there are a few exceptions, so if in doubt check our Delivery page).
To get it faster you can upgrade Light items to Royal Mail 1st Class or a Guaranteed Next Day Courier service, Saturday Courier or even before 12 noon services. There's a small fee, but if you're in a hurry they are worth considering. To qualify for next working day delivery, orders must be placed before 12 Noon Monday to Thursday. There is no standard Saturday courier delivery.
Heavy items weighing 2kg and more are sent via courier. If ordered before noon Monday to Thursday, Heavy items will be delivered next working day. Heavy items ordered after 12 Noon Friday, or anytime Saturday and Sunday will dispatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.
Please note that if you are purchasing a mix of Light and Heavy items at the same time, these will be sent separately. The Heavy items being sent by Courier, the Light items by Royal Mail Second Class.
