How to apply Broadline Spot On for Cats:
To apply pull back the plunger slightly, remove cap, place the tip of the applicator on the skin and apply the contents directly on the skin in one spot on the midline of the neck between the base of the skull and shoulder blades.
The content of one full applicator (appropriate to the cat’s weight) is applied directly to the cat’s skin after parting the hair, in one spot on the middle of the neck.
After application there will be a small stick patch (tacky to the touch, as if you've dabbed them with a Pritt Stick), this is normal but may take 1 or 2 days to disappear.
Broadline flea treatment and wormer is a prescription item. Please follow the instructions and dosage given by your vet.
Broadline is especially used to treat cats with (or at risk of) mixed infestations of tapeworms, roundworms and external parasites such as fleas, ticks or mites. It treats flea infestations and prevents new infestations for at least one month. Broadline can also prevent environmental flea contamination for over a month. Ticks are treated and new infestations are prevented for up to three weeks.
Broadline for cats treats tapeworms, roundoworms plus bladder infesting worms and feline lungworm. (For lungworm a second treatment may be recommended after one month). Broadline can also prevent heartworm disease for one month.
