Avimix contains a nutritious vitamin and mineral profile for you to easily supplement your pet’s food, giving them more of what they need to develop and maintain a healthy body for a happy life.

Ensure your pet bird gets a great spectrum of vitamins in their diet with Avimix - a multivitamin dietary supplement specially formulated to provide enhanced levels of vitamins A, C, and E, plus extra calcium to help birds maintain their levels of essential vitamins and minerals to combat stress and disease.

This broad spectrum high-potency multivitamin is a blend of Nutrobal and ACE-High (2:1 ratio), two of VetArk’s best-selling nutritional formulations, and provides a ready palatable source of essential vitamins and calcium suitable for routine use. It provides a high calcium/phosphorus ratio of 30:1 which is recommended for maintenance of adult birds. This high ratio in Avimix helps maintain adequate levels in birds as part of a routine diet, and is particularly valuable during periods of growth, breeding, showing, moulting, stress, and disease.

Avimix can be mixed into home mixes, or home-made fat balls, and is also suitable for sprinkling onto food. Because it is a high potency product, the actual quantity of powder required to achieve adequate levels of intake is reduced when compared to products formulated as general-purpose multivitamins by other companies. This overcomes the palatability problems which can be encountered when supplementing these difficult animals.

Instructions

Directions of use

Avimix can be sprinkled onto food at a rate of 1 pinch (about 1/8 of a teaspoon) per kilo of bird being supplemented.

Some aviculturists like to use Avimix in a pepper pot, this works well. Careless use leaves some food with a lot, and some with a little, which permits birds to avoid it.

We recommend using it every day, that way birds get used to it being there.
