COATEX® Essential Fatty Acid Skin and Coat Supplement for Dogs and Cats is a feed supplement to help maintain healthy skin and coat. All animals require optimum nutrition to maintain good health, but for some dogs and cats, this can’t always be provided through their diet and needs to be supplemented through nutrients. One such group of nutrients are the Omega 3 and Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) which are all found in COATEX® Essential Fatty Acid Skin and Coat Supplement. You should consider COATEX® Essential Fatty Acid Skin and Coat Supplement whenever you see signs of EFA deficiency, such as a dull coat or dry, scaly and itchy skin. Always gain advice from your veterinary surgeon before using this product.

Instructions
COATEX® Essential Fatty Acid Skin and Coat Supplement comes in two forms (highly palatable soft gel capsule or a special liquid pump) which delivers in one measure the same contents as one capsule. Always gain advice from your veterinary surgeon before using this product.
For dogs and cats under 10kg bodyweight give 1 pump OR 1 capsule per day
For dogs 10-19kg bodyweight give 2 pumps OR 2 capsules per day
For dogs 20-29kg bodyweight give 3 pumps OR 3 capsules per day
For dogs over 30kg bodyweight give 4 pumps OR 4 capsules per day
In general it takes three to four weeks for improvement to be seen, although this will depend on the initial condition of the pet.
